| Sumario: | The development of the present investigative work is carried out with the purpose of determining the economic impact of Public Investment in the tourism companies of the Province of Tungurahua through an empirical study.
The investigative approach is quantitative; using descriptive research, since information was collected from both primary and secondary sources, on the one hand, through the bibliographic modality, the impact of public investment in the tourism sector was theoretically based. While through the cross-sectional modality, information was analyzed in order to determine the effects that the theme has generated in context among the inhabitants of the Province.
The survey was used as a data collection technique that consists in the first instance of general data of the respondent and later on aspects of public investment in the tourism sector of the province of Tungurahua. In this way, it was determined that the investment made by the central government if it favors economic development to be the material basis for the internal production of both goods and services.
With the purpose of measuring the economic benefit in the Tourism Sector of the Province of Tungurahua, an econometric model was developed based on the Lorenz Curve and the Gini Coefficient, since with the application of the same it was determined that the distribution of the income of the tourist sector of the province is more equal, therefore, the economic impact is positive. |
