Sumario:This document focuses on evaluating the business idea of executing a Company linked to the transport and distribution sector of mass consumption products, focused on the marketing channel of the stores that are located in the neighborhoods of the city of Quito. The idea is born from a personal observation of the shortcomings that transport companies have in the delivery of merchandise to stores, these shortcomings are focused on delays or product returned by errors in billing, this generates losses for producing companies, which decreases its commercial capacity. The direct contact with the distribution companies, is done through a promotion scheme focused on making contact directly with the people in charge of making decisions in the companies that are part of the target market, this must be taken advantage of, taking into account that the 70 % of companies do not have their own transportation, due to high costs and investment in vehicles. In this context, a logistics structure based on three trucks of 3,5 tons capacity is proposed, whose value amounts to $ 206.708 USD., the contribution of the shareholders is 50% of own capital and 50% financed through a bank loan to five years of term. The financial evaluation determines that there is a net present value of $ 22.040 USD. and internal rate of return of 28,73%, this is a factor to decide to implement the business idea.
