The Tulipe Area takes its name from the archaeological site in which they settled Yumba civilization, the same that use advanced architecture with accurate geometric, beginning from the Latin cross and a nucleus in order to perform their pools of the same name. That is why I had chosen the “Geometry Tulipe” as a concept, which will be reflected in the interior spaces, through the management of range of colors, using the equinox as reference, as well as their flection of horizontal elements, on the ceiling and on the floor using the mirage (use of pools); also used the natural lighting that provides the current building, and will take place on consecutive design that binds the floor with the furniture; achieving spaces that respond to the needs and performance of the visitors, obtaining new knowledge through interactivity. An interior designer will intervene in the 1400 square meters dividing the space into 4 zones including rooms for dance therapy, handicraft workshops, exhibition hall and cafeteria; in which all rooms have been distinctly adapted to carry out different activities including physical, creative, culinary and recreational ones for children within the age of 4 and 12. The rooms will take into account the chromatic, ventilation, acoustics, physical ergonomics and use of design. This project is generated by the requirement of dance therapy rooms and underutilization of this area in this museum, fulfilling the need for visitors and inhabitants around of the zone. Achieving with the interior intervention an input to the MIC museum and to Quito city, using the origin of the name of the area, through the application of interior design and providing comfort to the users.
