Sumario:This study, analyzes the impact that propaganda represents in the case of the genocide in Nazi Germany and Rwanda. It identifies the means used by the issuer to convince the receiver of what is transmitted. It asks how political propaganda can generate massive violence in society? For this reason, it reviews the term propaganda, its history through the years, its intentionality and its techniques. Then, it is discusses how mass violence and genocide emerges. Finally, it analyzes the cases of genocide in Nazi Germany and Ruanda. The leading role of propaganda in both cases, despite belonging to different historical circumstances, is essential for the development of this study.
