Sumario:This Project is focused in the main productive process of an Ecuadorian cereal company. A study of the productive processes of the family quinoa balls products was carried out, which is the main source of profit and sales, for the company. In addition, flow charts were done contemplating the activities, time studies, route diagrams, standard operation sheet and the information was collected to perform the value stream mapping applying the Lean Six Sigma methodology, which identifies opportunities for improvement. Also, an Ishikawa diagram and 5Ss so this information was collected in order to find the root causes of the problems. The most optimal lean manufacturing tools were identified to be applied, in this case they are: visual management and 5Ss. With the implementation of these will be able to measure and control indicators, therefore increase the productivity of the plant. A new proposal of value stream mapping, future standard operation sheet, a training plan and an audit plan, in order to control and maintain the benefits of the proposed improvements The result would represent a reduction in the process time of each area, by 24 percent, which allows increasing production and therefore sales, generating an annual profit of 26,896.96 dollars.
