The principal objective is promoted Ecuadorian organic market and promoting bilateral relations between Ecuador and the United States. The business plan seeks on the American market since its food culture has undergone a great change in the last decade. In addition, the American population values in great proportion the products made with corporate social responsibility and that cares about the health and nutrition of people. The document reviews several topics in general with the objective of knowing the commercial and financial viability of the project. First, the external environment of the country was analyzed through a PEST analysis. Subsequently, the industry was analyzed through the PORTER analysis. On the other hand, a qualitative and quantitative analysis was carried out, for which a target market was selected based on men and women between 18 and 60 years old who consume organic foods in the state of California. The differentiation strategy is used in the marketing plan, since the Chigualcan jelly is made with ancestral fruits, social responsibility, and low environmental impact. Marketing expenses is a fundamental pillar for the entry and acceptance of the product in the American market. In order to make this project a reality, a food product plant should be implemented in which approximately 350 units will be produced daily, with an initial used capacity of 70%. Finally, it is determined that the project is profitable thanks to the financial viability that can be visualized according to the following variables: NPV of $ $10.065,99, lRR of 22.37% and RIC in 3,8 years.

El presente plan de negocios se enfoca en el desarrollo de un producto de la categoría confituras perteneciente a la industria manufacturera, con la elaboración de una jalea de un fruto ancestral de la zona andina, que se conoce como Chigualcan, para ser exportado hacia el estado de California- Estados Unidos. Con el objetivo de impulsar el mercado orgánico ecuatoriano y promover las relaciones bilaterales entre Ecuador y Estados Unidos, el plan de negocios se enfoca en el mercado americano ya que su cultura alimenticia ha tenido un gran cambio en la última década. Además, la población estadounidense valora en gran proporción los productos realizados con responsabilidad social empresarial y que se preocupa por la salud y la nutrición de las personas. El presente documento hace revisión de varios temas en general con el objetivo de conocer la viabilidad comercial y financiera del proyecto. Primeramente, se analizó el entorno externo del país mediante un análisis PEST. Posteriormente, se analizó la industria mediante el análisis PORTER. Por otro lado, se realizó un análisis cualitativo y cuantitativo, para lo cual se seleccionó un mercado objetivo basado en hombres y mujeres de entre 18 y 60 años que consuman alimentos orgánicos en el estado de California. En el plan de marketing se utiliza la estrategia de diferenciación, ya que la jalea de Chigualcan se elabora con frutos ancestrales, responsabilidad social, y bajo impacto ambiental. Los gastos de marketing es un pilar fundamental para el ingreso y la aceptación del producto en el mercado americano. Para hacer realidad este proyecto se debe implementar una planta de productos alimenticios en la cual se producirá aproximadamente 350 unidades diarias, con una capacidad usada inicial del 70%.
