Quevedo has developed in recent years and is potentiated by its attractive tourism sites and destinations that you can visit. Something that has generated a significant change is that now, Quevedo is an entrepreneurial city and why private investors have been attracted to place their business and thus has promoted employment for quevedeños doing tourist city. Construction of River Road has generated sustained and sustainable economic development in regards to tourism in the city is listed as the 'River City'. This has resulted in foreign and inhabitants to enjoy this heavenly tourist site, especially on weekends and holidays. Family barbecues come and perform the bank of tributary and cool off in the water, in addition to practice some sport. The purpose of this project is the present and sustainable growth financially viable, through the exploitation of natural resources in a responsible way in the path of Quevedo Canton River El Cantón Quevedo se encuentra localizado en la provincia de Los Ríos; con una población aproximada de 173585 habitantes, cuenta con nueve parroquias urbanas y dos rurales. La gran característica de esta Ciudad, es su gran dinámica comercial, su notable desarrollo agrícola y la gran cantidad de atractivos turisticos que en la actualidad no son explotados. Quevedo se ha desarrollado en los últimos años potencializando el turismo por sus atractivos sitios y destinos que se puede visitar. Algo que ha generado un cambio significativo es que en la actualidad, nuestra ciudad se ha convertido en emprendedora y por eso los inversionistas privados han sido atraídos para colocar sus negocios y de esta manera se ha promovido el empleo para la población, haciéndola turística. La construcción de la Ruta del Río ha generado desarrollo económico sostenible y sustentable en lo que se refiere al turismo en la ciudad que es catalogada como la “Ciudad del Río”. Esto ha dado lugar a que los habitantes del cantón y foráneos asistan para disfrutar de este paradisíaco sitio turístico, especialmente los fines de semanas y feriados. En familia acuden y realizan parrilladas a las orilla del afluente y refrescarse en las aguas, además de practicar algunas actividad deportiva.
