Sumario:This article is based on knowing the labor motivation of employees of Financial Cooperatives of Popular and Solidary Economy (PSE) (EPS) from the third sector in the Pichincha province in Ecuador by identifying what motivational factors have a greater presence for workers to be encouraged in their work environments. The main variable, which is being studied, is labor motivation that considers three dimensions: extrinsic, intrinsic and transcendent. This field research has an exploratory scope, based on the collection and processing of qualitative and quantitative data. The obtained results let us know that there is a significant presence of intrinsic and transcendent dimension in the workers of financial cooperatives of EPS. These are key factors for them to act reasonably and achieve a correct performance in their professional activities.
