It certainly is a mega-diverse country, because thanks to their great contrast in its small territory combines four natural regions offering a wealth of soils, climate, mountains, deserts, beaches, islands and jungle. The parish of Cacha has a great cultural tourism potential, but one of the problems lies in the unawareness of it’s culture and surroundings, leading to little influx of tourists. Other factors that are affecting today's social problems has been established in the parish of Cacha, migration due to lack of jobs, the fading traditions, customs of the communities and the inclusion of modern lifestyles that affect to the culture of the parish. Ecuador es un país con gran potencial turístico, donde se encuentra la mayor diversidad del planeta, dentro de él existen nacionalidades indígenas, que se destacan por su variada cultura y gran diversidad, entre estas están, los pertenecientes a la sierra, que cuentan con una gran riqueza cultural. Sin duda es un país mega-diverso, pues gracias a sus grandes contrastes, en su pequeño territorio, se conjugan cuatro regiones naturales que ofrecen una inmensidad de suelos, climas, montañas, páramos, playas, islas y selva. La parroquia Cacha cuenta con un gran potencial turístico cultural, pero uno de los problemas que radica es el desconocimiento del entorno y de los atractivos, conllevando a poca afluencia de los turistas. Otros factores que está afectando en la actualidad es la problemática social que se ha establecido en la parroquia Cacha, la migración, por falta de plazas de trabajo, el desvanecimiento de las tradiciones, costumbres de las comunidades y la inserción de estilos de vida modernos que afectan a la cultura propia de la parroquia.
