Sumario:This research was carried on Isinche Neighborhood, Pujil? Canton, Cotopaxi Province, for 20 days period. The goal research was to evaluate two different techniques ovariectomized sows, three months age, mixed race. Oophorectomy is stated as one surgical technique whereby the ovaries removal. For this practice were selected 14 sows, 7 for each treatment. This selection was completely at random (T1 Oophorectomy Ventral) and (T2 Side ovariectomy), units experimental received an adjustment phase 7 days. The T1 steps were an incision at the junction Alba linear. After, the ovaries identified are joined and sutured. In the case of T2 it affects the lumbar fossa, aperturandose between the muscles to reach the peritoneum. The ovaries themselves are linked to then be extracted and identified culminates suturing. We conclude that T1 has an average value of 32 minutes duration while T2 reached 45 minutes average. T1 is recorded that averaged greater recovery time of 11 days unlike T2 with a time of 10 days making it less invasive. Weight gain during 10 days was recorded as T2....
