Sumario:The research determined the effect of inmunesterilization as an alternative to traditional surgical sterilization in different hormonal parameters in lagomorphs (Oryctolagus cuniculus) as animal model. They were selected 15 male rabbits of 4 months New Zealander race that were randomly selected in treatments. The treatment consisted of applying the Inmunesterilizated 4 doses of anti-GnRH (Pfizer Animal Health SA INNOSURE?) vaccine 0.5 ml to each animal via subcutaneous; it was analyzed LH, FSH, testosterone and cortisol before and after the application of the vaccine. The treatment consisted of surgically sterilized subjecting animals to traditional sterilization technique to measure the level of stress and pain suffering an analysis of LH, FSH, testosterone and cortisol before and after surgical sterilization....
