Sumario:Gender equality is a theme that develops conflicts of adaptation in education. Actually is currently immersed in society as a revolution of factors for changes in the lives of the students. The project arose from the need to investigate the problems caused by gender inequality in students of the "Pujil?" Educational Unit, in the Pujil? Canton, Cotopaxi Province, the same as some of the stereotypes that society has established, that and the students bring from their homes causing discrimination, verbal, psychological and physical; preventing adequate interpersonal relationships exist between genders. This project was intended to achieve the overall objective of diagnosing the causes of inequality between genders. The investigation of this project was a training approach because it must follow important and decisive steps for choosing the method or path that led to obtain valid results that responded to the initial goals in this research, a survey was raised on equity gender, applied to teachers, students and parents that make up the educational community. Relevant researches results show that masculinity and femininity traditionally understood no longer exerts a strong weight but are still present in the way of acting and thinking of people. Consideration should be given to gender equity; you should be clarified in the training of students by developing activities promoting gender equality in improving interpersonal relationships.
