In this way, the present academic article proposes in a first part a review on the forms of approach and understanding of the social phenomenon of emerging urban cultures in our local reality, and the different actors and organizations that have been involved in the Task of thinking about, for and from the cultural diversity in our local environment. In the second part of the paper, we go into various areas of research at the local level to clarify and understand the main concepts, debates, problems and contradictions that the actors involved in research in urban cultures pose, culminating in a balance with the main contributions that Both the actors and the debates exposed give us in relation to the studies on urban cultures. El presente trabajo versa sobre las culturas urbanas en nuestro contexto actual como una forma de comprender y de acercarnos a una realidad; propone una revisión sobre las diferentes formas de acercamiento desde el entorno académico, institucional y social que se han generado sobre la diversidad en el marco de las culturas urbanas que confluyen con un universo de sentidos, prácticas que se presentan heterogéneas en su diversidad cultural. De esta forma el presente artículo académico propone en una en la primera parte una revisión sobre las formas de acercamiento, y cómo se comprende el fenómeno social de las culturas urbanas emergentes en nuestra realidad local desde los diferentes actores y organizaciones que se han abocado a la tarea de pensar sobre, por y desde la diversidad cultural en nuestro entorno local. En la segunda parte nos adentramos en varías de las investigaciones existentes en ámbito local, para esclarecer y comprender los principales conceptos, debates, problemas y contradicciones que los actores involucrados en la investigación en culturas urbanas plantean, culminando con un balance con los principales aportes que tanto los actores como los debates expuestos nos entregan en relación a los estudios sobre culturas urbanas. 2017-05-13T00:20:35Z 2017-05-13T00:20:35Z 2017-04 bachelorThesis http://dspace.ups.edu.ec/handle/123456789/14197 spa application/pdf
