| Sumario: | The purpose of the present investigation, entitled ¨A historical museum creation proposal for encouraging inhabitans identity from Alausí canton in Cimborazo province¨. Its purpose is to preserver not only it historical heritage, but also and provide a spase which will serve to value and reinforce historical significance under identity sense of the people from Alausí. To develop this research, a theoretical framework was established in which different conceptualizations from several authors and institutions were taken into account; especially from those who devoted to study and protect museums, including their great importance for keeping the identity alive. In summary, a documentary and field research was carried out in order to document and analyze cultural history and Alauseño´s identity which must be related to and embedded inside a museum. For doing so, it was necessary to use a methodology based on historical method and ethnographic method, it was also employed a field study technique based on some interviews which were addressed to some authorities and historians of the Alauseño people in order to identity the historical museum creation viability. In conclusion, the proposal to create a historical museum, is acceptable since it will allow recognizing a historical process development of the Alausí´s men in order to encourage a rescuing and new culture from their ancestral identity, with a mission and vision that this space will have about its historical value and emblematic expression around the different proposed museographic rooms. |
